Dr. Katie Mahoney received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University in 2010 and her Doctor of Audiology from the Northeast Ohio AuD Consortium in 2014.  She completed her fourth year externship in Audiology within the Cleveland Clinic health system.  

Dr. Mahoney conducts a full range of hearing evaluations and offers hearing aid assessments and demonstrations.  She also troubleshoots hearing aid issues and makes ear mold impressions and modifications for custom ear plugs designed for swimming or protection from loud noise.  Prior to joining the staff at Cleveland Sinus Institute, Dr. Mahoney practiced Audiology with a large ENT group in Lexington, Kentucky.

Dr. Mahoney is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology as well as a member of The Ohio Academy of Audiology.  In 2017, she began a three-year term on the Membership Committee of American Academy of Audiology.
